Privacy Policy

AppLab Kamil Piekarz (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the FitScroll mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Profile Data: Your display name and preferences you set within the App.
  • Onboarding Responses: Goals, phone usage habits, and preferences you provide during the setup process to personalize your experience.

1.2 Health & Fitness Data

  • Apple Health Data: With your explicit permission, we read step counts, walking/running distance, and cycling distance from Apple Health. We do not write data to Apple Health.
  • Exercise Data: When you perform camera-tracked exercises (push-ups, squats, sit-ups, jumping jacks, lunges, diamond push-ups, squat holds), the App processes camera frames on-device using ML Kit pose detection. No images or video are stored, transmitted, or uploaded. Only the rep count and exercise type are recorded.

1.3 Automatically Collected Data

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and support purposes.
  • App Usage Data: Coins earned, achievements unlocked, app-blocking settings, and workout history.
  • Screen Time Data:We use Apple's Screen Time framework to manage app restrictions. We do not collect or transmit your Screen Time usage data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality (app blocking, coin economy, exercise tracking)
  • Track your fitness progress, achievements, streaks, and journey milestones
  • Sync your data across devices when you sign in
  • Send you notifications about app unlocking, achievements, and daily milestones (with your permission)
  • Process in-app subscriptions through Apple's payment infrastructure via RevenueCat
  • Improve the App and develop new features

3. Camera Usage

The App uses your device camera solely for real-time exercise tracking through on-device ML pose detection (Google ML Kit). Camera frames are processed entirely on your device and are never stored, recorded, uploaded, or transmitted to any server. The camera is only active during exercise sessions that you explicitly start.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Local Storage: Your workout data, coins, achievements, and preferences are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms.
  • Cloud Sync: If you sign in, select data (workout history, coins, achievements, journey progress) is synced to Google Cloud Firestore to enable cross-device access. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.
  • Security: Sensitive data such as authentication tokens are stored using Flutter Secure Storage. Data in transit is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google): Authentication and Cloud Firestore for data sync. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription management. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
  • Google ML Kit: On-device pose detection for exercise tracking. All processing happens locally on your device.
  • Apple Health (HealthKit): Step and workout data access with your explicit permission.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging: Push notifications for app unlock reminders and achievements.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your health or fitness data with advertisers. Data may only be shared with the third-party service providers listed above, strictly for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App (Settings > Delete Account)
  • Revoke Apple Health permissions at any time through your device settings
  • Revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings
  • Opt out of push notifications at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all cloud-synced data is permanently removed. Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. App Tracking Transparency

The App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You will be asked for permission before any tracking occurs. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device settings.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
